Duane didn't call so hope he's all right. Lyn home between semesters. Met her after work & she came home with me for the eve. Folks at Willard's for supper. We just sat and talked & listened to the radio. Some good programs. Still no word from "Gen".

Sun Feb 4, 1945

Rained & slick. Duane called about 10:30. Judy, Buddy, Aand I at his house for dinner & all aft. Had swell time. Took "Nean" & Barb with us to see "Can't Help Singing". Good! Duane didn't feel so good. Had a fever & thought he was getting the flu. Baby is sure sweet.
